Why is it that every web browser has a round icon/logo?
via Download Squad
I think it’s because you notice a circle more than a square. I was just looking at my desktop and the icons that stand out were all circular.
I think it looks much more cool when it’s round, rather than a square.
but the ones in the examples you give are not really all round… In fact only one of them is actually round in the strict sense of the word. But not to be too finicky are they not (sort of) round to reflect the shape of the world (wide web)?
